A native of Portland, Dr. Scott P. Anderson, is a graduate of Portland State University and the Oregon Health Sciences University with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He was awarded his Specialty Certificate in Oral, Maxillofacial, and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania in 1980, and became a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in 1983.
Dr. Anderson was Chief of the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital from 1980-1993, as well as a member of the Surgical Services Committee and Head and Neck Surgery Development team. He also serves as a Board Examiner for the Oregon Dental Specialty Board and has been an Assistant Professor at Oregon Health Sciences University.
